Day to day I write software for a large company in the Northwest and create art in a few different forms. I love painting large scale landscapes and I also create wearable art in the form of wire wrap jewelry. Much of the gem stones I use in my jewelry I find myself in my ramblings around the mountains and valleys here in Washington state. In fact my first love is the outdoors rain or shine and along with that I have a passion for fly fishing in all it’s forms.

Interestingly enough the time I spend in the outdoors observing and feeling nature has informed my total outlook and I’m always looking for the zen of things. I have a fascination with quantum mechanics and cosmology and a belief that it might explain some small parts of the unexplainable. I believe in pragmatic spiritualism and the never ending search for the connections between all things…

ps. The header photo is one I took of Harstene island in the South Puget Sound area while fishing for sea run cutthroat trout.
